One of three major credit bureaus in the United States.
Transaction Fees
Additional fees may apply for special services and transactions, such as balance transfers and cash-advances. These fees should be outlined in detail in the Terms and Conditions of the credit card offer.
Teaser rate
A short-term, below-market interest rate offered initially to attract customers to sign up for, or switch to, a particular credit card. Also called an introductory rate.
Total Available Credit
The amount available for purchases as of the statement closing date.
Total Available to Transfer
The amount available for transfers to your account.
Total Credit Line
The maximum amount of credit assigned to the account.
Transaction
The title of the transaction (e.g., merchant name).
Third-Party Transaction Processor
An entity that validates and authorizes credit card purchases. They may also service the actual accounts on behalf of the issuers, emboss cards, and mail cards to cardholders. |
